Chamonix offers some of the best biking in Europe and is one of the most recognised mountain resorts in the world. Alpine sports overs and Chamonix Mountain biking enthusiasts will revel in its variety.
The ski lift system within the Chamonix valley opens up a huge variety of mountain biking for all levels of rider, and enough routes to keep you happily entertained for two weeks without hitting the same trail twice! The area has some excellent technical Cross Country riding with natural trails, roots, rocks, switchbacks, drop offs and rolling Singletrack. There is an excellent range of natural Downhill trails and a smattering of man-made obstacles.
The world class biking of ‘Cham brings visiting bikers from far and wide, with Canadian style boulder riding and fast rooted trails through pine forest, the area certainly keeps our guests returning every year!
Beginners will find easy trails and routes along the valley floor and up at Le Tour and Argentiere. Do not let the area’s rugged mountain façade” put you off - there is just as much riding for the novices as for the experts. To ride ‘Cham for a week will do wonders to your skill progression; and the overall breadth and appeal of the Chamonix valley is unrivalled for variety as well as for scenery!

FREE Bike Hire:
We can offer FREE bike Hire from the Hotel for our weekly guests. You may also rent bikes if a better quality DH or full susser is required. Our bikes are private to our guests only and all prices are cheaper than you will find elsewhere in resort.
The Fire Mountain is a quality hard tail bike that we offer free for guests to use over 3-4 days of your week. This is limited to weekly guests and bikes are limited- subject to availability. You mayreserve one for a week for just £85
The Kona Dawg is a hard hitting professional Freeride / XC bike and ideal for all levels of rider. It will soak up all the bumps yet get you back up to the top of the hill with its smooth gearing. This bike retails for £1600 - we rent it for just £120 a week!
The Kona Stinky is a high level Downhill rig and has more World Cup Kona DNA planted in its tubing than any other premium bike. Ride or test the best for just £195 a week
